The China’s Sci-Tech Journal Excellence Action Plan is the most extensive and robust national initiative dedicated to strengthening the country’s scientific and technological publishing system. Jointly implemented by seven key bodies including the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the National Press and Publication Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, aiming to cultivate world-class Sci-Tech journal brands with international influence. By advancing the modernization of China’s scientific publishing ecosystem, the program provides strategic support for building a leading global Sci-Tech journal system and bolstering China’s capabilities in self-reliant scientific innovation.
Water Resources Development Research is a comprehensive monthly academic journal supervised by the Ministry of Water Resources and operated by the Ministry’s Development Research Center. Founded in 2001 with the mission to “Explore Cutting-Edge Water Research and Analyze Water Resources Policies”, it provides extensive coverage of critical issues, including flood and drought prevention, water infrastructure, resource conservation and management, ecological protection of rivers and lakes, water governance policies, rural water resources and hydropower, river basin governance and management, and international cooperation.
